Data Manager, Facilities And Fleet at Forest Preserves of Cook County

Amanda J. Grant serves as the President of the Board of Education for Proviso Township High Schools District 209 since May 2023. Additionally, Amanda has been the Data Manager for Facilities and Fleet at the Forest Preserves of Cook County since February 2014, where responsibilities include managing a $2 million budget, overseeing bidding processes, and co-chairing the Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. As Executive Director of the Westchester Food Pantry since March 2015, Amanda has significantly expanded service capabilities and visibility while coordinating community outreach and volunteer efforts. Previous experience includes roles as Development Director at Aurora Central Catholic High School and the Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice, as well as serving as a Course Instructor at Waubonsee Community College, where Amanda received high ratings for teaching effectiveness. Amanda holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Illinois State University.
