Kate Spencer Ellis is an experienced educator with a strong focus on English instruction and leadership within secondary education. Currently serving as the Head of Sixth Form at Forest School since September 2008, Kate is a member of the Senior Leadership team responsible for shaping the whole school strategy and overseeing Year 12 and Year 13. Previous roles at Forest School include Head of English, where Kate enhanced teaching and learning methodologies. Kate's experience also includes serving as an Assistant Examiner for OCR AS English Literature and working as an Advanced Skills Teacher at King Alfred's Academy, where responsibilities included curriculum development and outreach for A-level English teaching. Additionally, Kate has held roles as a Teacher Governor and mentor to PGCE students, supporting future educators through training and guidance. Academic qualifications include a PGCE in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Oxford.
