Assistant Head Of Sixth Form at Furze Platt Senior School

Andrew Colmer has a diverse work experience that includes roles in education and healthcare. Andrew worked at Furze Platt Senior School as an Assistant Head of Sixth Form, where they were responsible for developing study skills and seminar programs for students. Andrew also implemented a literacy program for the Sixth Form student body. Prior to that, they served as the Head of History and Politics, consistently achieving outstanding results in student performance. Andrew started their career at the school as a History Teacher, where they taught all year groups and was involved in curriculum development and mentoring. Andrew also has experience working at Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Medical Records Clerk and Slough Grammar School as a Volunteer Teaching Assistant.

Andrew Colmer attended the University of Oxford from 2013 to 2014, obtaining a PGCE degree in History. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2013, they attended Royal Holloway, University of London, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.
