Steven Beri

Steven Beri is an experienced professional in environmental management and leadership, currently serving as the Recreation Program Manager for the U.S. Forest Service at Mt. Hood National Forest since July 2013. With a diverse background, Steven has held positions such as District Ranger managing over 400,000 acres and various recreation roles across several national forests. Steven has demonstrated leadership through participation in the National Middle Leader Program and has earned recognition for public affairs efforts during significant events like the Jack Fire. Additionally, Steven's educational background includes a Master's degree in Ecology from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Prior military service as a Medical Platoon Leader earned Steven a Bronze Star for meritorious service during combat.
