Fabian Farkas

Fabian Farkas is an experienced professional currently serving as the Acting Chief Markets Officer at the Forest Stewardship Council™ since October 2022, where Fabian leads the Marketing & Commercial Unit and advises the Director General. Previously, Fabian was a Senior Director at Simon-Kucher & Partners from August 2017 to September 2022, overseeing the "Public & Social Sector" Initiative and the "Global CSR Committee," and contributing to the "Consumer Goods & Retail" practice. Additionally, Fabian participated as an Inspire Impact MBA Fellow with Inspiring Capital in 2016, focusing on sustainable business strategies for social impact. Earlier in the career, Fabian held a managerial role at Simon-Kucher & Partners from March 2011 to July 2015. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from Yale School of Management and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from International Business School Budapest.
