Conicha Zorrilla is a dedicated professional with a strong background in social work and behavioral health. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Specialist and Preventive Social Worker at Forestdale, Inc. since July 2020, Zorrilla has also worked as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Emilia's Kids from July 2022 to January 2024, and as a Foster Care Social Worker at SCO Family of Services from August 2019 to July 2020. Earlier experience includes a tutoring role at Read Alliance from February 2013 to May 2014. Conicha Zorrilla holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Columbia University, expected in January 2024, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Purchase College, SUNY, completed in 2019. Educational background also includes a High School Diploma from the Academy of American Studies.

Forestdale’s roots go back 165 years, when a group of women affiliated with a church in Brooklyn founded an industrial school for children, which in 1980 became Forestdale. Forestdale is the only child welfare agency headquartered in Queens, with an exclusive focus on the particular needs of Queens' and Brooklyn communities & families.
