Phillip Sammuli

Phillip Sammuli, CFRE, currently serves as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Forever Balboa Park since July 2023. Previously, Phillip held various leadership roles at the Armed Services YMCA San Diego from September 2014 to August 2023, including Vice President of Development and Vice President of Legacy & Corporate Relations, where significant accomplishments in enhancing funding and team management were achieved. Phillip's diverse experience also includes positions such as Major Gifts Officer at TERI, Managing Director at Trinity Community Ministries, Associate Area Director at Lutheran Social Services of Southern California, Teen Center Site Supervisor at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, and Senior Program Director at YMCA of San Diego County. Phillip holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive credential and advanced degrees in education and philanthropic development.
