Furkan Issi

Furkan Issi is a Structural Engineer at Damen Yachting since April 2022, focusing on CAD/PDM (3DX) implementation and structural design improvements. In addition, Furkan serves as a Technical Consultant at Forexx Group B.V. Previously, experience includes roles as Project Engineer - Structures at Skipsteknisk, where project contributions included construction plans for various vessels, and Lead Structural Engineer at Damen, leading a team on the SeaXplorer 58 project. Earlier positions included Hull Design Engineer at Delta Marine, and a Production Intern at RMK Marine, where contributions were made to the Turkish Coast Guard Search and Rescue Vessels. Furkan holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering - Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, both from Istanbul Technical University.
