Jan Baan

Jan Baan has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Jan started their career at ForFarmers N.V. in 2004, where they held various roles including Product/marketing Manager and Sales Manager for the Netherlands and Germany. Later, they became the Manager of Swine and Poultry before being promoted to Business Unit Director for the Swine division. Their most recent role at ForFarmers was as the Business Unit Director for North Germany.

In 2015, Baan joined NEVEDI as a Member of the Board, a position they held until 2018. Similarly, in 2018, they became a Member of the Advisory Board at HaBeMa.

Jan Baan completed their education with a degree in Agriculture from Hogeschool Larenstein Deventer in 1995. Jan then pursued further studies in Vastgoed en grond verkeer / Landagent at Hogeschool Larenstein Velp from 2000 to 2002. Jan later obtained a scholarship in International Leaders Agriculture from Dutch Int. Scholarship (Nuffield) between 2011 and 2013.
