Denise Smitherman

Denise Smitherman currently serves as a Records Examiner/Analyst for FSA, supporting the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives in the Nashville Field Division, a position held since January 2020, following a previous role as a Data Analyst in the same bureau. Prior experience includes a temporary position as an Administrative Assistant at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, serving the TN Sex Offender Registry/Criminal Intelligence Unit, and roles in safety and security with Allied Universal and G4S. Denise also has customer service experience as a server in various establishments and as a Parts and Service Receptionist at Ace Hardware. Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Martin Methodist College and is currently pursuing further education at the University of North Alabama.
