Blake E. Szkoda

Blake E. Szkoda, PhD, currently serves as a Scientist I in the Blaze Analytical Development team at Forge Biologics, focusing on manufacturing gene therapies. Blake's academic journey includes a PhD in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University, where significant roles included Graduate Teaching Associate, Graduate Research Associate, and Presidential Research Fellow, earning recognition for outstanding scholarly accomplishments. Blake's research involved studies on Salmonella metabolism regulation and RNA biology, supplemented by experience as a Licensing Intern in Technology Commercialization.
