Sherman Lacey

Sherman Lacey is an accomplished Indo-Pacific Security Advisor with extensive experience as a U.S. Coast Guard Officer and ship’s captain. They have managed complex teams and led significant initiatives, including the development of the Southeast Asia Maritime Law Enforcement Initiative and coordinating security cooperation efforts in the Indo-Pacific region. Sherman holds a Bachelor of Science in Government from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and an MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and has completed graduate fellowships focused on countering weapons of mass destruction and advanced security cooperation. Currently, as a Senior Specialist at Forge Group, LLC, they are involved in innovative capabilities development and strategic partnerships in defense.
