Gary McAlum

Gary McAlum is an accomplished Chief Information Security Officer at AIG, where responsibilities include leading the global cybersecurity risk management program and collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team to shape information security strategy. In addition to this role, Gary serves as faculty at the Institute for Applied Network Security (IANS) and participates in the Cybersecurity Advisory Council at ForgePoint Capital. Prior experience includes advising TAG Cyber LLC, serving as the first Chief Security Officer and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Security at USAA, and developing cybersecurity strategies at Deloitte. Gary's military background as a Colonel in the United States Air Force involved leadership in information technology and cybersecurity operations. Educational qualifications include degrees from Harvard University, The Wharton School, and the University of Arizona, among others.
