Vishal Amin is a seasoned leader in the fields of cybersecurity and national security, currently serving as the General Manager of Security Solutions for Microsoft Federal (Defense) since 2020. With a robust background in security compliance and identity management across various sectors, including civilian and defense, Vishal has played pivotal roles in guiding Microsoft’s initiatives to empower federal entities through advanced cloud and AI solutions. As the founder of the SPADES Institute, a nonprofit focused on national security and democracy, Vishal also engages in leadership programs for veterans through the George W. Bush Presidential Center. A former U.S. Marine Corps fighter pilot, Vishal's diverse experience extends from industry leadership roles in various technology firms to notable contributions in public service. Vishal's educational journey includes executive programs at prestigious institutions like Harvard Kennedy School and USC Marshall School of Business, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
