Maarten Smolders

Maarten Smolders is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various roles across notable organizations. Currently serving as Corporate Controller at Hardinge Inc since January 2022, Smolders previously held the position of Controller at Vernay from June 2016 to February 2022. Prior to that, Smolders was the Director of Finance at Wolterskluwer Corporate Legal Services between May 2012 and May 2016. With a long tenure at Philips Consumer Lifestyle from January 2005 to June 2012, Smolders contributed as Controller of the Sales Organization USA and held various managerial positions in finance. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Financial Management from Nyenrode Business University, an Executive Master of Finance & Control from Maastricht University, and a Bachelor in Agricultural Business Administration from HAS green academy.
