Michael Place

Michael Place is an experienced professional with a diverse background in quality management and operations within various industries. Currently serving as a Value Stream Leader in the Machine division at Hardinge Inc since January 2022, Michael focuses on quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as Maintenance Manager at pladis Global from October 2014 to February 2022 and Operations Manager at Sikorsky, where responsibilities involved managing fabrication and flight operations in both commercial light and military helicopter divisions from May 2006 to January 2013. Michael's earlier career includes service as a Noncommissioned Officer in the United States Army and as a Structural Maintenance Technician in the United States Air Force. Michael holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Biology from Corning Community College.
