Alex Gold

Alex Gold is Vice President of Strategic Supply at Form Energy. In this role, she leads strategic projects with a primary focus on Form’s upstream value chain, working cross functionally with the company’s supply chain, advanced manufacturing, and research and development teams. Alex brings nearly two decades of technical and management experience in hard tech, spanning the energy, specialty chemicals, and biotech industries.

Prior to joining Form Energy, Alex was Vice President of Operations at Solid Power, an industry-leading developer of next-generation all-solid-state battery technology. An early employee at Solid Power, she developed and led the teams responsible for program management, marketing, facilities and capital projects, IT, and supply chain. Before joining Solid Power, Alex worked for Agilent Technologies, Dawn Food Products, and IBM in a variety of management and engineering roles.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado – Boulder and an MBA from Duke University, where she was a Fuqua Scholar. She is a member and former chair of the External Advisory Board to the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado – Boulder.
