Head of Product Marketing at Formation

Nicole Rose Balsamo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nicole Rose started their career as a BLP Marketing Intern at Synchrony in 2019. Nicole Rose then provided freelance B2B and B2C marketing management and coordination services to small and mid-size businesses from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they worked with various industries including retail, subscription meals, health and fitness, and law, and helped businesses increase followership on social media, gain more subscriptions, increase event attendance, and coordinate grand re-openings.

In 2020, Nicole joined KPMG US as a Management Consultant | MarTech Consulting. There, they implemented Salesforce Marketing Cloud, served as a full-cycle Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager, managed a 12-month long, $1.5 million Agile project, led social media marketing efforts, and assisted in the launch of two new service offerings.

In 2021, Nicole joined Rabbu, Inc. as a Product Marketing Manager and later became the Director of Marketing in 2022. Their responsibilities included marketing strategy, user interviews, requirement gathering, product adoption, and leading the marketing team.

In 2023, Nicole joined Formation as the Head of Product Marketing. Nicole Rose oversees the product marketing function at the company.

Additionally, Nicole is a member of the old girls club, a community for women.

Nicole Rose Balsamo has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital and Social Media Business Applications, and Media, Sex and Gender from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Nicole Rose also studied Marketing, Spanish, and International Business at IES Abroad Barcelona.

In addition to their formal education, Nicole has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Nicole Rose is a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, certified by Salesforce in May 2021. Nicole Rose also holds certifications in Agile Foundations from LinkedIn obtained in September 2020, HubSpot Email Marketing Certification from HubSpot obtained in September 2019, Google Ads Display from Google obtained in August 2019, and Hubspot Social Media from HubSpot obtained in August 2019.
