Steven Dang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in security infrastructure and application development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Uber since January 2021, Steven focuses on building advanced security products. Prior to this, Steven held various roles at Capital One, including Principal Software Engineer where contributions included developing a platform for automatic source code vulnerability scanning and architectural innovations in asynchronous OCR and Machine Learning, achieving significant cost savings and efficiency improvements. Additionally, Steven serves as a mentor at Formation, guiding aspiring software engineers.
