Tawanna Preston is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management operations and housing programs. Currently serving as Managing Director at The Trust (Powered by the NFLPA) since November 2024, Tawanna oversees the development and implementation of organizational systems to meet strategic objectives. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Ginnie Mae, Executive Operations Officer at HUD, and various positions within the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where responsibilities included policy development, program oversight, and legislative analysis. An early career as a physicist at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory provided a strong analytical foundation. Tawanna holds a Master's degree in Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Morgan State University.
