Software Engineer - Print Pipeline

Andrew Bright is an experienced professional in the field of SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) print processes, currently serving as the SLS R&D Technical Lead at Formlabs since July 2021. In this role, Andrew oversees the planning and coordination of SLS print process features, integrating customer feedback, conducting materials research, and facilitating software development. Prior to this position, Andrew worked as an SLS R&D Engineer, where the focus was on developing print process algorithms and conducting new material research for the Fuse 1 and Fuse 1+ systems. Andrew's earlier experience includes a role as an SLS R&D Engineering Intern at Formlabs, a position as a Nano-Bioengineering Specialist at Suncayr, and research in nanophotonics at the Frank Gu Lab. Andrew began a career in engineering as an Assistant at Giatec, contributing to smart concrete testing technologies. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
