Jakob Schmidt

Jakob Schmidt is an experienced sales and commercial leader currently serving as Sales Director at Formo since December 2024. Previously, Jakob held the position of Commercial Director at Magaloop from August 2021 to January 2025, where responsibilities included revenue growth strategy and key account management for a leading B2B marketplace in Germany. Prior to this, Jakob worked at Sony Electronics as Head of Category Management and Service & Delivery Manager for the DACH region. Additional roles at HelloFresh encompassed Senior Category Manager UK and Senior Global Category Manager, with a focus on strategic procurement and innovation projects. Jakob began a career in market research at bms-marketing research + strategy in 2013. Educational qualifications include a Diploma from CIPS and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Augsburg, alongside a semester abroad in Political Science at Universidad Pablo de Olavide.
