Thuy Vi Co

Thuy Vi Co is an Associate Food Scientist at Formo since May 2022, specializing in the characterization of novel proteins produced by precision fermentation through various instrumental analyses. Previous experiences include a Food Science Internship at Formo, where responsibilities involved lab-scale prototyping, pilot plant scale-up trials, and sensory study execution. Thuy also served as a Product Development Intern at Organic Labs, focusing on new product concepts and sensory evaluations, and held positions at IceDate, Nestlé, and Mondelez, gaining experience in product development, quality assurance, and laboratory testing. Thuy Vi Co holds a Master of Science in Food and Biotechnology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology and Biotechnology from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by various continuing education seminars related to food compliance and practical cheesemaking.
