Espen Henriksen

Espen Henriksen currently serves as an Associate Professor of Finance at BI Norwegian Business School since August 2015 and has been a Visiting Associate Professor at UC Santa Barbara since January 2016, with intermittent positions in the Spring Quarter of 2016, Fall Quarter of 2017, and Fall Quarter of 2018. In addition, Espen holds several advisory roles, including Board Member at Formuesforvaltning Aktiv Forvaltning and member of the Investment Advisory Council for both Cultiva and Sørlandets kompetansefond since August 2019. Prior experience includes Assistant Professor at the University of California from July 2012 to June 2016, Senior Economist at Norges Bank Investment Management from August 2010 to July 2012, and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at NHH from August 2005 to July 2015. Espen Henriksen earned a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and has educational credentials from the Norwegian School of Economics, the Norwegian Defense Intelligence and Security School, and Ringerike Gymnas.
