Alec Robbins is a professional driver with extensive experience in motorsports, currently competing with Formula DRIFT since April 2017 and managing Alec Robbins Racing concurrently since April 2016. Prior to their career in racing, Alec Robbins served as a shop foreman at Metro Transit from October 2016 to April 2022. Academically, Alec Robbins obtained an Associate of Science degree in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician from St Cloud Technical and Community College between 2010 and 2013.

Formula DRIFT or Formula D is the premier United States drifting series. Formula Drift, Inc. was co-founded by Jim Liaw and Ryan Sage in 2003 as a sister company to Slipstream Global Marketing, the same partnership that introduced D1 Grand Prix to the United States. The new entity would solely own, operate and launch the first official drifting series in North America. 2016 will be Formula Drift's sixteenth year of competition.
