Chris Rapson

Chris Rapson is a Senior AI Engineer at Formus Labs. Chris previously worked as a Computer Vision Specialist at Auckland Transport, where Chris focused on improving the city's transport network. Before that, Chris was a Research Fellow at Auckland University of Technology, conducting research on autonomous vehicles. Chris has also worked as a Control Systems Engineer at Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics and as a Product Development Engineer at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. Chris holds a PhD in Physics from Universität Greifswald and has master's degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague and Luleå University of Technology. Chris completed their Bachelor's in Mechatronics Engineering at The University of Auckland.
