Oren Sarid

Head of core infrastructure at Fornova

Oren Sarid has a long and varied work experience. In 1993, they were a software developer for the Israel Defense Forces. From 1998 to 1999, they were a student at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. From 1999 to 2015, they worked for Intel in various roles, including Software Technical Leader for Intel's OpenCL SDK Tools, Senior Software Engineer, SW Architect & Technical Leader, and Software Engineer. From 2009 to 2017, they worked as a Stock Photographer for Fotolia and iStockphoto, and as a Photographer of Life for Life behind the Lens. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Lead Engineer at Binaris, and from 2018 to present, they have been the Head of Core Infrastructure at Fornova, managing teams from multiple domains. Oren has also been the Software Team Lead at Fornova, leading the core software team in charge of the scan system and data acquisition software.

Oren Sarid's education history includes graduating from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2002 with a BSc in Computer Science. Oren also graduated from Herzel elementary school in 1986. Oren attended Ironi H, Haifa, but did not receive any degree or certification.
