Ceri Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2008, they worked for McLaren Automotive Ltd as a Design Engineer and later as a PDM Coordinator. Ceri was responsible for designing various parts and coordinating the release of components for production. In 2011, they joined Williams F1 as a Mechanical Design Engineer before moving to Jaguar Land Rover as an Electrical/EDS Design Engineer. Ceri then worked as a Design Engineer at Gordon Murray Design and as an Electrical Design Engineer at Williams Advanced Engineering. In 2014, they founded CODE Acoustics, a high-end domestic hifi company, before joining McLaren Automotive Ltd again as a Concept Design Engineer. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Rivian, first as a Design Lead and later as a Senior Manager in Adventure Products Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Hardware). Before their current position as the Head of Lifestyle Products Engineering & Programmes at FORSEVEN, they worked at Aptilium Ltd as the Chief Engineer/Senior Engineering Manager. Throughout their career, Ceri has managed multiple teams, designed various electromechanical components, and led the design and packaging activities for a range of electrical components.
Ceri Thomas received a BEng (hons) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.
