Ceri Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2008, they worked for McLaren Automotive Ltd as a Design Engineer and later as a PDM Coordinator. Ceri was responsible for designing various parts and coordinating the release of components for production. In 2011, they joined Williams F1 as a Mechanical Design Engineer before moving to Jaguar Land Rover as an Electrical/EDS Design Engineer. Ceri then worked as a Design Engineer at Gordon Murray Design and as an Electrical Design Engineer at Williams Advanced Engineering. In 2014, they founded CODE Acoustics, a high-end domestic hifi company, before joining McLaren Automotive Ltd again as a Concept Design Engineer. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Rivian, first as a Design Lead and later as a Senior Manager in Adventure Products Engineering and Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Hardware). Before their current position as the Head of Lifestyle Products Engineering & Programmes at FORSEVEN, they worked at Aptilium Ltd as the Chief Engineer/Senior Engineering Manager. Throughout their career, Ceri has managed multiple teams, designed various electromechanical components, and led the design and packaging activities for a range of electrical components.

Ceri Thomas received a BEng (hons) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Before attending university, Ceri Thomas attended Aylesbury Grammar School and Guilsborough County School, though specific information about their degree or field of study during that time is not available.
