Yaroslav Pollak

Yaroslav Pollak has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Yaroslav is currently working at ForSight Robotics as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Intel Corporation from March 2018 to November 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Intel, Yaroslav focused on pre-enabling and optimization of convolutional neural networks on Intel's processors. Yaroslav also designed and developed the Deep Learning Code Generator, which automatically generates asm code for deep learning workloads on Intel processor architectures.

Before joining Intel, Yaroslav worked at Technion as a Ph.D. Student in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from October 2011 to March 2017.

Yaroslav has also worked at Altair Semiconductor as a Software Engineer from November 2005 to October 2007. During their tenure, Yaroslav designed and developed the entire software for a 2-processor FPGA based WiMAX protocol solution. Yaroslav also contributed to the development of key modules used in various parts of the software development cycle.

Prior to Altair Semiconductor, Yaroslav worked at PLR Information Systems as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2003 to September 2005. Yaroslav'sresponsibilities included designing and developing software for embedded solutions in military avionics and developing a data debriefing software system for personal computers.

Yaroslav Pollak completed their BSc degree in Physics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a BSc degree in Computer Science from Israel Jobs between 1997 and 2003.
