Travis Schaal

Travis Schaal currently serves as the Director of Veterinary Services at Forsman Farms, providing technical services and training to enhance bird welfare, health, and production performance since August 2025. Prior to this role, Travis was a Senior Key Account Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim from May 2022 to August 2025, where efforts were focused on expanding the company's presence among egg layer producers in the USA and enhancing training programs for hatchery and farm staff. Travis's extensive experience at Hy-Line International spanned from June 2012 to May 2022, including roles such as Director of Global Production, where oversight of research farm operations and hatchery services was majorly involved. Earlier experience includes a Veterinary Student Internship at USDA-FSIS and an Animal Health Technician position at the Oregon Department of Agriculture. Travis earned a DVM in Veterinary Medicine and an Honors BS in Animal Sciences from Oregon State University.
