Alex Burov

Alex Burov has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Alex is currently an Associate Director in Investment Banking at Forsyth Barr Limited since October 2023. Prior to this, Alex was an Associate Director in Mezzanine Financing & Special Situations at Bank Otkritie Financial Corporation from April 2020 to October 2022. Alex also worked as a Senior Associate in Investments and M&A at National Bank TRUST from May 2018 to April 2020 and as an Associate in Investment Banking at Sberbank CIB from March 2017 to February 2018. Before that, Alex held positions as a Senior Analyst in Private Equity at Sigma Capital (Millhouse Group) from October 2016 to March 2017, an Analyst in Investment Banking at Renaissance Capital from October 2014 to September 2016, an Analyst in Transaction Advisory Services at EY from May 2014 to September 2014, and a Consultant in Audit & Assurance Services at PwC from January 2013 to April 2014.

Alex Burov's education history begins in 2008 when they attended the Higher School of Economics, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with a focus on Financial Management. Alex completed this program in 2012.

In 2022, Alex started their next educational journey at Massey University, where they worked towards earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Business. This program concluded in 2023.
