Elizabeth Signorotti

Elizabeth Signorotti, PhD, currently serves as a Grant Coordinator for the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, where responsibilities include identifying and procuring grants to secure funding for tools, specialized personnel, and projects. With extensive experience in grant writing, Elizabeth has contributed to the Southern Tier Independence Center, Inc., since 2006, securing over $50 million in competitive grants to support programs for individuals with disabilities across 12 upstate New York counties. Additionally, Elizabeth writes grants for the LIFE at Resource Center for Independent Living, Inc., while previously holding academic roles as Coordinator/Chair in the Department of English and Professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and Lecturer at Binghamton University. Elizabeth's early career included a role as a Human Resources Generalist and Corporate Legal Liaison at The Sacramento Bee. Elizabeth holds a PhD and a Master's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Binghamton University, along with a Bachelor's degree in English and Classical Literature from Saint Mary's College of California.
