Jacklyn Prepelka is an experienced educator specializing in Spanish language instruction, currently serving as the MS Spanish Teacher and 7th Grade Grade Level Dean at The Ellis School since August 2017. With a career beginning in August 2008, Jacklyn has taught a range of Spanish courses from Spanish 1 to AP Language at Fort Cherry School District, where responsibilities also include developing the curriculum, heading the World Language Department, advising the Foreign Language Club, and participating in the Scholarship Committee. Prior experience includes directing the Day Camp at the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, overseeing summer camp activities and counselors, as well as teaching Spanish at Baldwin School District. Jacklyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Westminster College.
