Chad Barnett

Chad Barnett currently serves as a Detective in the Group Violence Intervention Task Force unit at the Fort Myers Police Department, a position held since April 2015. Prior experience includes a role as a Squad Leader and Joint Fire Support Specialist with the Florida Army National Guard from May 2012 to April 2020, and as a Project Manager at Halifax Paving Inc. from June 2013 to February 2015. Additionally, Chad served as a Community Service Aide with the Sanibel Police Department in late 2012. Chad Barnett's educational background includes attendance at Florida International University and ongoing studies at Florida SouthWestern State College, where an Associate's degree is being pursued.
