Michael Joyce has been working in the electrical engineering field since 2004. Michael began their career at Design on Demand as an Electrical Engineer, where they were the lead engineer on a flight data recorder and checklist device. In 2006, they moved to Automated Engineering as an Electrical Engineer, where they were responsible for developing a shore power AC voltage and current monitoring system with CAN interface. In 2008, they joined TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they were the lead electrical engineer and technical expert on power supply and baseband communications portions of multi-million dollar DoD VSAT programs. In 2014, they became Principal Electrical Engineer at Medical Components, Inc., where they designed and brought the company’s first electronic product through FDA approvals and to market in less than 1 year. Michael also lead the electrical engineer and architect of an ECG-based catheter placement device. In 2018, they moved to Biomeme, Inc. as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Currently, they are the Electrical Engineering Manager at FORT Robotics since 2022.

Michael Joyce attended the University of South Florida from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
