Kyle Fezi, PhD, is an accomplished materials engineer with extensive experience in alloy development and processing. Currently serving as AMD Senior Materials Engineer at Fort Wayne Metals since May 2016, Kyle manages projects focused on melting and shaping advanced alloys, including shape memory and superelastic materials, while also promoting simulation tools for process enhancement. Prior to this role, Kyle held the position of AMD Materials Engineer at Fort Wayne Metals, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Kyle's academic background includes a PhD and a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from Purdue University, where doctoral research concentrated on uncertainty quantification in solidification model predictions and master's research focused on modeling transport phenomena in electroslag remelting. Additional experience includes a summer research internship at Haynes International, investigating the mechanical properties of HAYNES 242 alloy.
