Alena Keene

Alena Keene is a dedicated school librarian with extensive experience in promoting reading and integrating digital resources across various educational settings. Since August 2022, Alena has served as a school librarian at Fort Worth Academy, following roles at Alamo Heights Independent School District, Coppell ISD, and Lackland ISD. Alena's background also includes teaching Spanish for multiple grade levels and working as a graduate teaching assistant at The University of Kansas. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas, a Master's in Language Teaching from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Creighton University.
