Optipave Development Manager, North America at FORTA Concrete Fiber

Sherry Sullivan has held a variety of roles in both the private and public sectors throughout their career. In 2020, they joined FORTA Concrete Fiber as a Business Development and Pavement Engineering, working with the FORTA concrete division to develop and expand opportunities for synthetic fiber use in concrete pavement applications. Prior to joining FORTA, they were the National Account Manager and Senior Sales Engineer with PNA Construction Technologies, and the Director of Transportation for the Cement Association of Canada. From 2008 to 2011, they were the Concrete Engineer at the Ready Mixed Concrete Association of Ontario, and from 2003 to 2008, they were the Technical Sales Engineer at Votorantim Cimentos - St Mary's Cement.

Sherry Sullivan's education history includes a MASc in Civil Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University, obtained between 2004 and 2006. In 2009, they obtained a LEED AP certification in Green Building from CaGBC. In 2004, they also obtained a Certificate in Facilitative Leadership from Schulich School of Business - York University. From 1999 to 2003, Sullivan obtained a B.Eng in Civil Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University. Between 1997 and 1999, they studied Mining Engineering at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne. In 2007, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
