Arshad Khwaja

Arshad Khwaja has extensive work experience in the field of IT management and cybersecurity. Arshad is currently serving as the CEO of Fortabyte Cyber Solutions since 2016, where they oversee the efficient and cost-effective IT management, cybersecurity, and data interoperability services for various business establishments and K-12 schools in the Mid-Atlantic states. Arshad is also responsible for managing a team of IT engineers and specialists and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction by providing systematized and efficient IT management solutions.

Prior to their current role, Arshad worked as the Director of Technical Support & Professional Services at BAE Systems, Intelligence & Security from 2013. Arshad led a team of high-performing contributors focused on customer relationship management, chronic issue identification, and overall service improvement in the area of cybersecurity products. Arshad provided leadership in information security, configuration management, training, operational oversight, and technical support.

From 2003 to 2012, Arshad held various positions at SafeNet, including Director of Technical Support and Sr. Manager of Technical Support. Arshad managed support engineers across the Americas region, provided management and technical escalation resolution to customers, and established numerous processes for the rapidly growing company and organization.

Arshad also worked as a Systems Engineer at Cylink from 2001 to 2003, where they assisted sales personnel in generating revenue by addressing customer technical requirements in a pre-sales capacity and dealt with various aspects of customer relationships. Arshad has also worked as a Microsoft Certified Trainer at PC City and Consultants/Hofstra University from 1999 to 2003.

Additionally, Arshad worked as a Sr. Network Engineer at Verisign/Hexaware from 2000 to 2001, where they were involved in network engineering, firewall administration, configuration, and administration of Checkpoint Firewalls and VPN installations, and configuration of security policies on firewalls.

Arshad Khwaja completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York between 1985 and 1990. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications from various institutions. These certifications include CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate) from Cisco, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) from Cisco, CCSA (Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator) from Checkpoint, CCSE (Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer) from Checkpoint, MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) from Microsoft, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) from Microsoft, and MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) from Microsoft.
