Lenny Elizabeth Higgins Burgos

Lenny Elizabeth Higgins Burgos has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They started their career in 2006 as an Analista Informatica I at CVG EDELCA and worked there until 2012. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at CORPOELEC as an Engineer II, Desarrollador WEB, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and the company's intranet using PHP, HTML, MYSQL, POSTGRESQL, and Drupal.

In 2018, Lenny worked as a Backend Developer as an Autónomo, where they designed and developed API-Restful using NodeJS, Express, and databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL. They also conducted unit testing and implemented a logging module.

From 2019 to 2021, Lenny worked at Globant as a Nodejs Backend Developer semisenior and Nodejs Developer Ssr. They contributed to backend development projects using NodeJS.

At Sofka Technologies, Lenny worked as a Líder Técnico and Software Delivery Manager from 2021 to 2023. They managed software product delivery to clients, coordinated development processes, proposed improvements in AWS architecture, and developed and maintained AWS services.

At Kitchen United, Lenny held the role of Teach Lead / Backend Technologies from 2022 to 2023, where they led the backend team and developed new features using microservices architecture, gRPC messaging system, Guards, Kafka, Redis, and managed data and notifications with Postgres, Mongo, and Sendgrid.

Currently, Lenny is working at Forte Group as a Sr. Software Engineer since 2023.

Lenny Elizabeth Higgins Burgos completed high school from UNEG, also known as the Universidad Nacional Experimental de Guayana, from 1997 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a degree in Ingeniería informática (Computer Engineering).
