Michon Van As

Michon has expertise in international client management and brand partnerships. As a previous internationally recognized model, she is passionate about the future of work and establishing smooth employment transitions. Her entrepreneurship, resilience and business acumen have secured her a position in the 2021 INSEAD MBA program. Michon is Dutch, and spent her upbringing moving across Southern and Eastern Africa.

Michon graduated with First Class Honors from the London School of Economics with a focus on Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development. She is fluent in English and Dutch and intermediate in Spanish.

Michon is a committed mentor to young women in fashion. Through her partnership with Model Alliance, she advises models on legal, copyright, and financial matters. It is her mission to help young women develop the necessary toolkits for impactful and competitive career transitions.
