Kyeongmi Bang

Kyeongmi Bang is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as an Associate Actuary at Fortegra since January 2023, Kyeongmi previously held the position of Associate Reserving Actuary at UFG Insurance from March 2020 to December 2022. Kyeongmi's earlier role as a Consultant at Oliver Wyman Actuarial involved conducting reserving analysis across diverse lines of business and preparing Annual Statements of Actuarial Opinion for U.S. Property and Casualty insurers. Kyeongmi's career began as an Actuarial Intern at Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Company, followed by a significant role as an Assistant Manager (Pricing Actuary) at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, where optimization of annual yield rates improved loss ratio performance. Kyeongmi holds a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa and dual BS and MS degrees in Mathematics from Seoul National University.
