Tami Sinker-Collins has a diverse work experience in various industries. Tami started their career at the Internal Revenue Service in 1988 as an Adjustments and Correspondence specialist. Tami then moved on to Continental Grain Company where they worked in Purchasing and Acquisition, managing payroll and logistics. After that, Tami worked as a Legal Assistant specializing in workers compensation at Connaughton, Boyd and Kenter, Attorneys at Law.

In 1993, Tami joined Zurich as a Claims Manager and Underwriter for F&I products, where they managed dealership accounts and was responsible for various risk management tasks. Tami received several accolades for their outstanding performance, including the "Wow" award for exceptional customer service.

From 2010 to 2020, Tami worked in the Risk Management Agency and USDA as a Senior Risk Management Specialist and later as a GS-13 Senior Risk Management Specialist. Tami implemented process improvements, introduced an accountability system, and provided data quality support for crop insurance.

In 2017, Tami volunteered as a Surge Capacity Force member for FEMA, assisting individuals affected by hurricanes.

Most recently, Tami worked at Amynta Group as the Director of Underwriting, specializing in underwriting auto warranties and other F&I products for agents and dealerships. Tami utilized their analytical skills to translate data and identify trends for underwriting and actuarial decision-making.

Currently, Tami is the Director of Underwriting at Fortegra, where they continue to apply their expertise in managing underwriting processes.

Tami Sinker-Collins obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Agriculture from Kansas State University between 1982 and 1986. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Animal Sciences, with certifications including FLMI (Fellow Life Management Institute), ALHC (Associate, Life and Health Claims), and AFIP (Associate, Financial and Insurance Practitioner). Tami holds additional certifications in various areas, including "Learning Microsoft SQL Server 2016" and "Migrating Access Databases to SQL Server" from Lynda.com, as well as a "Certificate of Merit- Implementation of 2014 Farm Bill" from the USDA Administrator's Award Program.
