Jimmy Hsu

Jimmy Hsu has extensive experience in various roles and industries. Jimmy started their career in 2001 as a Research Scientist at Philips, where they worked until 2002. Jimmy then joined Primax as a Sr. Engineer from 2002 to 2003. In 2005, they worked at both HTC as a Sales Manager and Realtek Semiconductor Corp. as a Project Manager. At Realtek, they successfully built a consumer audio CODEC product line and achieved significant market share in the portable navigation market. From 2010 to 2011, Jimmy worked at Macquarie Group as an Analyst, specializing in covering Taiwan fabless companies. Jimmy provided analysis reports on global technology trends and made stock recommendations for clients. Since 2013, they have been working at Fortemedia as the Director of the Software Solution Business. In this role, they manage eco-system building activities with major platform players and develops marketing and product strategies for the PC, smartphone, and tablet markets.

Jimmy Hsu earned an MSEE degree in VLSI from the University of Southern California in 1999 and 2000. Later, they pursued an MBA with a focus on Marketing at National Chengchi University from 2003 to 2005.
