Sarah Granke has a diverse range of work experience. Sarah is currently working at Fortera Corporation as a Research Associate and Process Team Lead. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the same company. Before joining Fortera Corporation, Sarah worked as a Staff Geologist at Terraphase Engineering Inc. Sarah also served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Wyoming, where they conducted research on porosity production mechanisms in granitic regolith and taught undergraduate geology and environmental science labs. Sarah has also worked as a Lab Technician at the University of California, Berkeley, and as a Community Engagement Clerk at New Seasons Market. Sarah has experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Pomona College, where they also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher, conducting field work and writing a senior undergraduate thesis. Additionally, Sarah was a Research Intern at Pennsylvania State University, where they participated in an NSF funded REU focused on geomorphic mapping.

Sarah Granke completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology/Earth Science from Pomona College between 2013 and 2017. Sarah then pursued a Master of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Wyoming, which they completed between 2018 and 2020.
