George McWilliams

George McWilliams is the Head of Engineering - Defense at Forterra. He previously held roles such as Vice President and Director of Advanced Programs. Prior to his tenure at Forterra, George worked as a Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute, focusing on autonomous vehicle development. He also served as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, where he worked on autonomous micro-helicopters. George's internship experiences include roles as an Embedded Software Engineer at Harris Corporation and an R&D Engineer Intern at American Electric Power. George holds a MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
