Sarvesh Mayilvahanan

Sarvesh Mayilvahanan is a skilled software engineer with expertise in robotics, machine intelligence, and deep learning. Currently employed as a Software Engineer II at Forterra, Sarvesh has previously engaged in advanced research at the University of Michigan's Manipulation & Machine Intelligence Lab, focusing on multi-modal implicit neural representations for deformable object state estimation. Sarvesh has built significant experience through various internships at Forterra and academic research labs, where contributions included developing a point cloud manipulation package, implementing kinematics and motion planning for robotic systems, and creating real-time object detection algorithms. Sarvesh holds a Master of Science in Robotics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
