Alan Clark

Alan Clark is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in leading product development and engineering teams across various companies in the automotive and construction sectors. Currently serving as Chief Technical Officer at HVS since December 2022, Alan previously held the position of Engineering Director at LEVC, where responsibilities included overseeing engineering activities for the renowned LEVC TX taxi and the innovative LEVC VN5 van. Prior roles include Head of Engineering LCV at Emerald Automotive, Engineering Director at Samson Materials Handling, and Programmes Director at Alexander Dennis Ltd, where Alan successfully introduced key new products and drove significant revenue growth. A graduate of the University of Aberdeen with a B. Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, Alan has built a strong track record in engineering leadership since beginning a career at Komatsu UK Ltd in 1992.
