Jacob Spencer

Jacob Spencer is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in battery technology and cell performance. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Cell Technology at Fortescue since October 2023, Jacob has previously held positions including Project Engineer in Cell Technology at Fortescue and Engineer in Battery Performance at WAE from September 2022 to October 2023. Prior roles also include Battery Engineer at BAT and Events Co-ordinator at The Wild Fork. Jacob holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from Cardiff University, obtained in 2021, and a Master of Chemistry from the same institution, completed in 2016. Early education includes A-Levels in Mathematics from The Downs School.
