Jared Nelson

Jared Nelson is a Senior Environmental Specialist at Fortescue Metals Group since July 2019. Prior to this role, Jared worked at Ecoscape (Australia) Pty Ltd from September 2008 to July 2019 as a Senior Environmental Scientist and Spatial Analyst, where responsibilities included coordinating flora and vegetation surveys primarily for the mining, resource, and infrastructure sectors across various regions in Western Australia. Earlier experience includes serving as an Agronomist at Elders Limited from January 2007 to September 2008, providing agronomic and technical advice to clients. Jared holds a Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Science from Curtin University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science from The University of Western Australia (2003-2006). Secondary education was completed at Wesley College in South Perth (1998-1999).
